I have worked for three Medical Cannabis companies in the Medical Cannabis Industry since 2015.
I started out my career as a Sales Representative, then have held positions as Regional Director of Operations & Regional Board of Directors, Managing Director, Clinic Supervisor & Director of Operations, Communications & Marketing.
I was also one of the few Judges for The Karma Cup Elite Cannabis & Hash Festival 2016 held in Toronto in late October.
I have a vast knowledge of Medical Cannabis Regulations both Federally & Provincially.
While being employed at Algoma Steel for over ten years now, I worked mostly in #7 Blast Furnace on the Casthouse floor as a Keeper/Floater.
I was also the area Committee Man & acting Union Steward at various times for LU2251 members as well as being a trained Industrial Health & Safety Representative since 2015. While holding these & other committee positions, I along with approval of my Front Line Supervisor, was able to update the Job Safe Practices(JSP’s) in the #7 Casthouse & surrounding areas for the first time since 1999.
I was also the United Way Campaign Canvasser for Ironmaking Operations from 2012 until it was discontinued in 2015.
I was a part of the Sault Steelers Football Team from 2006-2010, of which 3 of those 5 years we won the NFC Titles & CMFL National Championships.
Recently I have been active having taking USW Political Action Course in Hamilton Ontario last fall which included being trained as a Voter Contact Organizer (VCO), running a campaign office, canvassing, phoning & lobbying.
Also I have taken a position as Committee Man to the Shop Steward in the DSCP Hot Strip Mill Operations.
Upon completion of the course I was offer, accepted & official appointed by the Northeastern Ontario Area Council in February as the USW NextGen Regional Representative Northeastern Ontario.
During the same meeting I also accepted a position in the District 6 Political Action Committee as the Local Union 2251 Representative.
Next month (May) I was to take part as a participant in USW Vote School in Sudbury Ontario which is a 7 day intense Political Action Course that incorporates working in a live Campaign office, phoning, canvassing & lobbying. But as it would happen I was offered & accepted a positions as Assistant to the Course Instructors.
This year is also the USW Election year & I was fortunate enough to be nominated, standing & acclaimed as one of three Local Union 2251 Trustees.
Lastly, on this great Holiday, April 20th, GGGC announced that we will acquire a 1/3 equity stake in a Medical Infused Product Licence in a Cannabis Manufacturing Company in Colorado upon completion of meeting all regulatory requirements.
Making us the 1st Ganjagar/Cannagar Company in Canada to go North American. This move will also position us to obtain access to Colorados maturing Recreational Cannabis Market & their Medical Market which combined is worth +6 billion & this is only the beginning for us!
